Second Denny’s location to open in Tyler

TYLER, Texas (KLTV) - A well-known diner is opening a second location in Tyler at the location of the former Grandy’s restaurant, according to records filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.

Denny’s is planned to inhabit the former Grandy’s building located at 1226 S. Beckham Ave. in Tyler, according to the filing.

A remodel and reconstruction of the building’s interior is expected to cost $800,000, with work scheduled to begin May 15 and finish July 1, according to the filing.
