Gilmer's Watson has game-sealing interception in SFA win

The junior’s interception came at the end of a 13-play drive by ACU with 2:35 left in the game.

NACOGDOCHES, Texas (KLTV) - Former Gilmer Buckeye Luke Watson had an interception late in SFA’s 32-19 win over nationally ranked Abilene Christian on Saturday.

The junior’s interception came at the end of a 13-play drive by ACU with 2:35 left in the game. SFA managed to run out the clock to win the game. Watson also had a tackle.

Chris Campos (Nacogdoches) kicked a 30-yard field goal and three extra points. Trashawn Adams (Jasper) had two tackles. Rohan Flueellen (Gilmer) had two catches for 19 yards.

SFA was not selected for postseason play so the Lumberjacks' season is over.
