East Texas (KLTV) - Scattered showers will gradually diminish this evening with partly cloudy skies overnight. Temperatures will drop into the mid 70s by morning. Chances for rain look quite slim on Saturday with hot, humid conditions. Temperatures will reach the mid 90s and feel like the triple digits Saturday afternoon. A cold front arrives Sunday with a likely chance for rain spreading through East Texas by late in the day. Rain chances remain likely through Monday with heavy rainfall possibly leading to some brief flash flooding issues. Rain and clouds will keep temperatures much cooler than average early next week, but as rain tapers off Tuesday into Wednesday, temperatures will quickly rise back into the mid 90s.
