(KLTV) - Chick-fil-A Properties says they have received reports of potential unusual activity involving payment cards used at some of their restaurants.

The company does not have full details yet, they say, but are working with leading IT security firms, law enforcement and payment industry contacts to determine all the facts. They say they were made aware of the situation on December 19. The company assures their customers that as soon as they know where the breaches occurred, and who is affected by the breaches, they will share those details with the public.

The company also says that any Chick-fil-A customer affected by the breach will not be responsible for fraudulent charges, saying that the company or the bank issuing the card used in a transaction will be responsible for those transactions. The also say that they will arrange free identity protection and monitoring services for any customer who was impacted by the breach, if any are found.

Customers are asked to call 855-398-6439 if they need additional support or information.
