|“We identified a need in the community, a food gap if you will. And so, 28 percent of the population, about 20,000 people in Gregg County are considered food insecure. And so, we have 13 partner agencies here already and so by opening this we’ll be able to supply more food for the people who are our neighbors,” Emerson said.
