The albino traits are snow white skin or fur, and pink eyes. Though the calf is healthy, albinism has its challenges, such as poor eyesight and sunburn.

“We identified a need in the community, a food gap if you will. And so, 28 percent of the population, about 20,000 people in Gregg County are considered food insecure. And so, we have 13 partner agencies here already and so by opening this we’ll be able to supply more food for the people who are our neighbors,” Emerson said.
