Noem, SD Congressional Delegation at odds over Ukraine war

Gov. Kristi Noem discusses the Ukraine-Russia war amid speculation on the GOP 2024 presidential primary. Noem's stance on the issue puts her at odd with South Dakota's three Republican representatives in Washington.
At Pinecrest Country Club, Gregg County judge Bill Stoudt stepped to the podium to lay out what he perceives as a problem. “Every two years when the legislature meets, it’s the most dangerous time for everybody meeting in this room. They pass laws that affect you,” the judge said.
Under SB 1, conditions like Chron’s Disease, PTSD, and HIV/AIDS would be eligible for treatment with medical marijuana in South Dakota. But anti-marijuana activists, like those from “Protecting South Dakota Kids,” are concerned with what expanding medical marijuana out could look like in practice.
