Texas African American Museum reopens after completing phase 1 renovations

The sale is Saturday morning at the Longview Arboretum at 9 a.m., but get there early. Davis said there will be a line and most of the plants are gone by 10:30 a.m. since all plants are $5 each.
Students at Rice Elementary in Tyler participated in “Rock Your School” Day on Friday. It’s a nationwide event put on by Get Your Teach On, a professional development organization for teachers.
