Things that crawl, things that creep, and things that slither, are all on display at a popular East Texas reptile show.

“Well, I would hope two things: number one, ‘hey, here’s a place I can contribute if I am able to do that,’ and number two, ‘hey, here’s a place where I can get help if that’s what I need,’” Morris said about the reason for the sculpture.

“The best way to have our voices heard is to vote and to vote to protect your wives, your daughters, your sisters, your granddaughters,” said Jenny Murphy-Vick, an activist with the Cherokee County Democrats.”

With most of their work revolving around young families and young mothers, some who have gone through abortion, the issue has been heartbreaking. But they don’t make judgment. “I’m not talking about protesting or shaming. I’m talking about coming along side these people that are in traumatic and difficult circumstances,” Fears says.

"In today’s age a lot of people have been hurt by church, been hurt in church, we’ve seen scandals going on like crazy recently. To be able to bring your family to a safe place like this is really nice,” says Chris Legg, pastor of South Spring Baptist Church.
