Two teen brothers in South Canyon we’re exploring a wooded area near their house and noticed a raccoon fighting for its life after its burrow collapsed on it. They immediately asked their dad for help and called the wild west wildlife rehabilitation center for assistance. Together they were able to get the raccoon out safely after hours of digging. The raccoon had trouble walking at first but was released about 10 minutes after getting out. The center urges you to call them for help when you see hurt wildlife.
