Southeast severe weather

The same storm system that threatened to produce severe weather across East Texas Tuesday night really got its act together yesterday producing numerous reports of large hail, high winds, and even a couple of tornadoes. Scattered supercells developed in the afternoon across Alabama and the quickly moved east into Georgia. Some of the damage reports include softball size hail and numerous homes damaged or destroyed. Unfortunately there was one fatality last night as a man was thrown from his mobile home during a tornado in Georgia. Officially there are not too many reports of tornadoes from yesterday's storms however I feel once the National Weather Service from Atlanta and Birmingham perform damage surveys later today, we will see that number increase.
