Maya Goes Old School For Good Cause

The "old timers" proudly came out today to the Glass Recreation Center, for their first annual Old Timer's Basketball games, sponsored by the Tyler Chapter of CHUMS. KLTV's own Maya Golden played today, and she led her team to a close victory.

Today's events were organized by Greta Moore-Dixon, and hopefully, it's just the start of something big.

"We thought about an all-timers dance," Tyler CHUMS President Berdine Craddock said. "We'll try and do this basketball game annually. It's a fundraiser for us, so we can continue our programs in the city."

Money raised today goes to the CHUMS charity projects, including their "Kidz4Kidz" program.
