MARSHALL, TX (KLTV) - A federal judge has sentenced a Marshall man to 60 months in prison in connection with a methamphetamine distribution charge.

Records show Judge Ron Clark handed down the sentence for Delon Jermaine Perkins, 27, on Tuesday in the Tyler federal courthouse.

According to the text of the indictment, Perkins distributed 50 grams of meth on Sept. 9, 2016, in Gregg County.

He was indicted on the charge on Oct. 18 and pleaded guilty on June 7.

Once he is out of prison, Perkins will have to serve three years of supervised release.
