UPDATE: No injuries reported in Amtrak train collision

An Amtrak train has collided with a car, igniting a fire.

Multiple law enforcement agencies are on the scene. The collision is east of Hallsville on Stephens Road.

According to Union Pacific, an engine is being sent from Shreveport to tow the Amtrak train to Marshall.

The Amtrak engine is damaged and is not operational.

The passengers on the Amtrak will be taken to Gold Center in Hallsville to escape the heat inside of the train.

Passengers will be provided buses to Marshall. Transportation will be provided to get passengers to their destinations.

No injuries are reported
