Preliminary autopsy indicates no foul play in death of man found in Tyler woods

TYLER, TX (KLTV) - A preliminary autopsy confirms there was no foul play in the death of a Tyler man whose body was found in a wooded area last month.

Gregory Tyrone Jock, 50, was found dead on July 24 in the woods behind the Valero Gas Station, located at East Front Street and SSE Loop 323.

Tyler Police Department spokesman Don Martin said a preliminary autopsy showed there was no foul play in the death. He said they are waiting on a toxicology report to determine the cause of death.
