Nacogdoches woman arrested in connection with Henderson bank robbery
HENDERSON, TX (KLTV) - A Nacogdoches woman accused in the robbery of a Henderson bank has been arrested.
Ashley Alexderia Page, 32, is charged with first-degree aggravated robbery. She was booked into the jail on Thursday and is being held on a $250,000 bond.
According to the Henderson Police Department, Page was arrested on July 10 during a traffic stop in Dallas County. Page was identified as a suspect in the robber in February. However, law enforcement was not able to locate her at that time.
The Henderson Police Department worked with the Texas Rangers, the Rusk County District Attorney's Office, the FBI and the Smith County Crime Scene Unit during the investigation.
According to an arrest affidavit, Page had a box-cutter type knife and went into the bank on Jan. 13 with a man who had a gun.
The affidavit states they showed their weapons and demanded money. The affidavit states Page went behind the counter and opened the money drawers and got the money while the man held everyone at gunpoint. They then left the scene.
The affidavit states investigators were able to identify Page by lifting fingerprints from the counter.
Henderson police said in a press release that they have identified the second suspect in the case and have issued a warrant for his arrest.
At this moment, they have not published the identity of the second suspect.
