TYLER, TX (KLTV) - One might think that something is in the water at Reuland Orthodontics, where there has been an "outbreak" of the best kind.

In late 2017, Lindsey Mink announced to the office that she was expecting.

"I was very shocked to be the only one pregnant; obviously, that didn't last very long," Lindsey Mink said.

Soon after Lindsey's announcement came Samantha's, then Kelse's, then Melissa's, and last but certainly not least, Alli's. But the ladies say it wasn't really a surprise.

"There's normally two or three that's always pregnant together," Kelse Hollowell said. "But then four popped up, and five."

"Now we are waiting on a sixth," Melissa Whitehead said.

However, pregnancies aren't the only thing going around in the water. Kelse along with two other staff members are recently engaged or married.

"All of the co-workers up here are all around the same age," Alli Garcia said. "Early families, young married and wanting to start their families."

And if you're wondering the sex of the babies? Melissa Whitehead, 20 weeks, and Lindsey Mink, 34 weeks are both having girls. Samantha Denney, 28 weeks, and Kelse Hollowell, 27 weeks, are both having boys, and Alli Garcia, 12 weeks, is waiting to find out the gender of her baby.

As for their boss, the ladies say she's used to all the pregnancies by now.

"Dr. Reuland, when we go in there, we used to be nervous to tell her," Whitehead said. "But now she just, when we walk in, she is just expecting for us to tell her that."

The ladies say they've even got their maternity leave all planned out.

"She'll be gone first, we'll be gone together, when we come back she leaves, it's kinda laid out pretty perfect," Hollowell said.

But they say it would not be possible without the help of the rest of the staff.

"They help us out and they are encouraging for us and they are good support for, not just us five here, but for everyone," Garcia said.

Reuland Orthodontics is expected to welcome their newest member in September. The last baby is not expected to arrive until February.
