(KLTV/KTRE) - Grassy weeds are a common problem in flower beds and they can start creeping up during the summer months.

Annual summer weeds like crabgrass have seeds that can become a headache in your flower beds.

Now is the time to remove them.

If you don't have the grass you want in your flower bed you can use a "grass-killer" herbicide that won't hurt the flowers.

Otherwise, you'll have to remove the weeds by hand.
