LONGVIEW, TX (KLTV) - A driver in Longview was sent to the hospital after crashing his car on the front porch of a house.

The wreck happened in the 100 block of Leonard Drive. The driver jumped a curb and drove onto the sidewalk and crashed into some potted plants on a woman's front porch.

A woman was standing outside when the car came barreling through the yard. She was able to get away before the crash occurred. A neighbor reportedly yelled "Look out," and got the woman's attention.

The wreck damaged some plants and a metal pillar in front of the house. The pillar stopped the vehicle from going through the house.

The airbag deployed when the driver hit the pillar. The driver was taken to the hospital but their injuries are unknown at this time.
