Funeral arrangements set for teen killed in Mount Pleasant crash
MOUNT PLEASANT, TX (KLTV) - Funeral arrangements have been made for the Mount Pleasant teen involved in a tragic car wreck, last week.
Suzanna Brooke Grigsby, 16, was involved in a two-vehicle car crash in front of Mount Pleasant High School on April 25 around 9:45 p.m.
Grigsby was critically injured in the crash and taken to a Tyler hospital. Two others were sent to the hospital with injuries.
Grigsby died on Sun., April 29, according to her family. She was a member of the Mount Pleasant High School Tiger Dolls.
In her memorial a family member posted "Always goofy and a joy to those around her, Suzanna couldn't help but to give first to others whether it was dinner she shared at the table with her brothers, a friend in need of makeup, or a homeless person on the streets of New York City."
Grisby was an organ donor and according to family, "she will now be able to give life to others that she will never meet."
Visitation will be held from 1-2 p.m. on Sat., May 5 at First Baptist Church in Mount Pleasant. A celebration of Life Service will be held at 2 p.m. following visitation.
The family has requested a private burial to follow afterward.
Funeral services are under the direction of Bates-Cooper-Sloan Funeral Home.
