(KLTV/KTRE) - NFL combine has begun. This is where the prospects can raise their stock...or lower it. Locally, former Whitehouse and Texas Tech playmaker Dylan Cantrell gets his turn when the receivers go through the testing.

Cantrell impressed, ranking among the top receivers to grade out. Maybe one of these guys will be his quarterback. According to one website, his SPARQ rating was the bes of all the receivers in the draft, and he led all receivers in several drills, like the 20-yard shuffle.

KeKe Coutee, another wide receiver who hails from Lufkin and from Texas Tech, impressed scouts, as well, in Indianapolis during the combine. We expect good things to come for this athlete. Apparently he did so well that the Patriots announced they had a private meeting with him, according to the same site.

QBs got in their workout Cleveland Browns have the number one pick overall, they have their choice. Sam Darnold of USC, Josh Rosen of UCLA are expected to go one and two.

Earl Campbell and Heisman winner OU's Baker Mayfield is on the radar of the Jets and Dolphins.

Lamar Jackson, a former Heisman winner, makes it clear to teams he's not going to switch to wide receiver. Quite frankly, I think it's a slap to the face for coaches and scouts to suggest he play a position other than the one that earned him the Heisman.

Shaquon Barkley of Penn State had a very impressive day.  The running back showed his speed, but rarely do players run a straight line during a game. If he's going to take it to the house, he'll have to use his blazing speed.
