Report: According to Houston Chronicle Texas A&M to fire Kevin Sumlin after LSU game

COLLEGE STATION, TX (KLTV) - Over the years, and even more so since Kevin Sumlin arrived in college station, Texas A&M has recruited East Texas hard. There are currently over a dozen
players from the region on the Aggies roster, but they may be playing for a new head coach in 2018.

According to the Houston Chronicle, no matter what happens against number 18 LSU on Saturday night, Sumlin will be fired. Currently in his sixth year,
A&M is 7 and 4 overall. Despite owning a 51 and 25 record, Sumlin and company have finished 8-5 in each of the last three seasons.

The biggest stat against Sumlin, the Aggies are just 16 and 19 against SEC West competition since he arrived in 2012. Sumlin did say during his press conference, that he expects to be back next season.
