The strike is over at Vesuvius U.S.A. in Tyler. Today, nearly half of the employees who were picketing went back to work. The rest of the employees are expected back Monday. For ten days, 96 employees went on strike for better benefits.
Vesuvius representatives say the company and employees' union reached a three-year contract agreement Wednesday.
The plant employs more than 140 workers.
