TYLER, TX (KLTV) - The Literacy Council of Tyler is adding a large donation to its collection of reading material.
Half Price Books donated 10,000 books to the organization on Thursday. The company says they've donated more than one million books to non-profit groups like the LCOT this year.
The books will be distributed among their adult students and to the Bill's Bookshelf program.
Half Price Books has announced it will be opening a store in August at The Village at Cumberland Park in Tyler.
