(KLTV) - The Hunt County Sheriff's Office continues searching for a missing former Dallas Firefighter. 70 year old Michael Chambers was seen Friday around 11AM at the Walmart near his home in Quinlan.

Today, more than 75 volunteers gathered to search Chambers's 10 acre property and his neighbor's properties. According to Sgt. Jeff Hains with the Hunt County Sheriff's Office, "In something like this, were five days out in the investigation. Having this many people we can cover a large area in an adequate amount of time and hopefully, either uncover some evidence or locate Mr. Chambers and go from there.

Hunt County Sheriff Randy Meeks knew Chambers well. "I'm really frustrated because we haven't been able to locate him and it's really tugging on my heart," he said. Sheriff Meeks added, the family is "Extremely, extremely sad, and it's disappointing that we don't have anything, and were anticipating hopefully finding him soon.

Michael Chambers is described as 70 years old, 225 pounds, 6 feet 3 inches, and balding with grey hair. If you have any information, please call the Hunt County Sheriff's Office.
