Hunt County Sheriff’s Office: Missing man did not leave on his own accord

HUNT COUNTY, TX (KLTV) - The Hunt County Sheriff's Office is continuing a search for a 70-year-old missing man and officials believe he did not leave his residence "on his own accord."

The Texas Rangers have joined the search for Michael Chambers, who was reported missing from his residence by family members on Friday night.

According to the sheriff's office, he is described as 6'3", 225 lbs., balding with gray hair and was last heard from by his wife over the phone at approximately 8 a.m. on Friday.

During the investigation deputies searched the residence and based upon evidence at the scene they believed Chambers is in danger.

Chambers has no background of medical or mental disabilities.
