TITUS COUNTY, TX (KLTV) - One person was injured Wednesday after a shooting in Titus County.

About 2 p.m., Titus County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to the Exxon in Talco on Highway 271.

According to Sheriff Tim Ingram, the person was allegedly shot at the gas station by a man who was following them in a vehicle. When the vehicles pulled up to the gas station, a man in the second vehicle opened fire.

Ingram said officials are working to determine a motive and the case remains active at this time. The department is not yet releasing names of the suspects involved.

A person of interest was arrested on unrelated charges, Ingram said. That person could face an additional charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon pending the results of an investigation.
