The body of Cody Lusk and his boat was found at the lake east of Palestine around 2:50 p.m. on Thursday, according to Anderson County Sheriff and game warden.
Authorities believe the boat Lusk was traveling in sank, and then he attempted to swim to shore.
According to officials Saturday night’s water temperature was 57 to 60 degrees. 

ANDERSON COUNTY, TX (KLTV) - Crews have been searching for Lusk since the weekend. He was last seen about 9:30 p.m. Saturday leaving on his boat to do some fishing. The Anderson County Sheriffs office is investigating his disappearance as a possible drowning.

According to Anderson Co. Sheriff Greg Taylor crews located fishing tackle and a life jacket they believe belonged to Lusk.
