E. Texas housekeeper arrested in credit card fraud, police say 'check your credit reports'

ANDERSON COUNTY, TX (KLTV) - Palestine police said that on Wednesday, they identified a suspect in an ongoing credit/debit card abuse investigation.

Wednesday afternoon, police detectives arrested Stacy Branch, 39, of Palestine, at her home after linking her to a case they had been investigating. In this case, Branch was employed by the victim as a housekeeper. As police looked further into the case, they found that Branch was employed by numerous residents in the Palestine area as a housekeeper.

Police obtained a search warrant and searched Branch's home, where they say they found a number of identifying documents for multiple people.

Branch was arrested and is in the Anderson County Jail, held on a $20,000 bond.
