Authorities are unable to confirm whether an arrest was made in connection to the body found at a Bullard home Saturday. Investigators say a say they worked overnight to obtain a search warrant.

Cherokee County Sheriff James Campbell said Saturday that authorities believe it is the body of Kayla Gomez-Orozco, who has been missing since Nov. 1. A case investigator also said Saturday there was evidence recovered on a property in the 22000 block of Old Jacksonville Highway in Bullard. This area is only a few miles from where Kayla was last seen.

Federal, state, and local law enforcement officials are investigating.
