Suspect arrested in fatal Palestine shooting identified

ANDERSON COUNTY, TX (KLTV) - Palestine police have identified the suspect arrested in connection to a shooting death Monday.
Lawrence Tatum Jr., 54, of Palestine was arrested for the shooting death of 28-year-old Paul Kennedy.
Around 10:30 p.m. Monday, patrol officers responded to reports of gunshots in the 500 block of West Point Tap Road, where Kennedy was found lying in the front yard of a home.
Tatum was charged with murder and is being held in the Anderson County Jail on a $250,000 bond.
The Palestine Police Department is continuing to investigate the incident.
