Longview police identify victim in fatal shooting

LONGVIEW, TX (KLTV) - Longview police have identified a victim in a fatal shooting.

Police say Alexis Bell, 26, was fatally shot about 12:03 p.m. Tuesday at the Bella Oaks Apartment complex on Lake Lamond Police say Bell was found deceased inside her apartment.

Officers are questioning a person of interest in connection with the shooting. Police say the man was the only person on scene when they arrived. The man is in police custody due to unrelated outstanding warrants.

Neighbors say that Bell has five children, but they were not home at the time of the incident. They had been with family and friends for most of the afternoon.
