LONGVIEW, TX (KLTV) - The investigation into the May murder of a businessman who belonged to a prominent East Texas family continues. Investigators say they are still looking for clues in the mysterious incident, which still has no suspects at this time.

It was on May 30 that Ronnie Horaney was found dead of gunshot wounds at his Longview area home. Investigators are seeking any clue or tip from the public that might shed light on the killing. More than two months after the discovery of Horaney at his Tryon Road home, investigators are still trying to find out who did it and why?

"I feel like that's a worry that I'm sure everyone in the neighborhood has. Not knowing who did this means they're somewhere and there's not really
a good chance of someone finding them right now," says area neighbor Autria Compton.

In spite of investigators' efforts, no suspect has been developed, and no motive.

"I was surprised and heartbroken, because he was a really good man, and i know his family is grieving for him right now,"  said neighbor Shirley Ellerd.

"I heard the gunshots, and of course it's not what you think it is. Heard it happen, then heard the sirens and everything," Compton says.

The focus of the investigation continues to be the person of interest in the composite sketch. The man who was not recognized in this neighborhood then or since. Neighbors say the sketch doesn't fit anyone they had ever seen in their neighborhood.

"I would hope for their family that somebody somewhere knows something. I can't imagine what they're going through and they would never get closure until that happens," says Compton.

Even when the sheriff's office raised the reward for information to $20,000. No new leads have come in, and the mystery man has not been seen again.
