VAN ZANDT COUNTY, TX (KLTV) - Crews responded to a large vehicle fire on Interstate 20, westbound west near the intersection of I-20 west and Highway 110/Van Highway, Wednesday.

The Lindale Fire Department received a call at 11:14 a.m. that a greyhound bus was on fire on I-20.

Firefighters say the bus was being towed by a tow truck, traveling from Shreveport to Dallas, when it either blew a tire or a bearing locked up, causing the bus to catch fire. A portion of the bus was burned.

No one was on the bus and no one was injured.

The bus will have to be placed on a flatbed trailer to be removed from the area.

Traffic is now open on I-20.
