WHITEHOUSE, TX (KLTV) - Fire crews have extinguished a truck fire at an apartment complex in Whitehouse.

Just before 6:15 a.m., Smith County Sheriff's Office got a call that a vehicle had possibly hit a building and caught on fire on County Road 2193 between Farm-to-Market Road 756 and Rhones Quarter Road.

When crews arrived on the scene they found the truck sitting in a grassy area about four feet from one of the buildings in the complex. No one was in the vehicle at the time of the fire and the truck did not hit the building before catching on fire.

Smith County Sheriff's officials say no one was injured in the fire.
