Man indicted in fatal gang shooting at Bunny's truck stop

SMITH COUNTY, TX (KLTV) - A Smith County grand jury has indicted one of the suspect's arrested in a deadly shooting at a Smith County truck stop.

According to Smith County Sheriff's Office, D'Mio Antunez Ingram, of Longview, was arraigned on one murder charge Tuesday before 241st District Court Judge Jack Skeen Jr. Ingram's bond was set at $750,000.

Ingram, a documented member of the 2200 12th Street Gang in Longview, was the fifth suspect arrested in connection with the fatal gang shootout in August at Bunny's Truck Stop on Farm to Market 14 and N. Loop 323 in Tyler.

LaPrida Shears, 25, of Tyler, was killed in that shootout. The indictment record blames Ingram for firing the gun that caused Shears' death.

Smith County authorities are continuing their investigation.
