GILMER, TX (KLTV) - After a 5 and 7 season, not a single Longhorns coach deserves a raise, in fact they probably deserve a pay cut. That is unless you are Jeff Traylor. According to, the Texas assistant coach has been offered a raise and accepted it.

That also means, the former Gilmer Buckeye will be in Austin for the foreseeable future. This all came about because Traylor was reportedly scheduled to interview for a co-offensive coordinator position with Missouri.

Traylor's role in the Longhorns offense is expected to increase under new offensive coordinator Sterlin Gilbert.
