LONGVIEW, TX (KLTV) - One person was arrested in Longview after a shot was fired.

Police were called Tuesday afternoon to Hunters Crossing Apartments in the 2800 block of Bill Owens Parkway. Police say one person was arrested and two others detained in connection with the incident.

The person who was arrested fled from officers and a foot chase ensued in the woods near the apartment complex. They were later apprehended and taken into custody. Police say the man will likely be charged with evading arrest.

Officers have not been able to locate a weapon and say no one was injured in the incident.

The brief pursuit placed nearby Oak Forest Montessori School on temporary lockdown.

Officials with the school said they heard the shot and called 911. School officials said the campus was locked down briefly as a precaution.
