TYLER, TX (KLTV) - Tuesday afternoon the Tyler Fire Department responded to a GoBus public transportation vehicle on fire.

It happened near the St. Vincent DePaul Society on West Front at College in the downtown area. The driver of the bus, who is the fleet coordinator for the county, says she was alone on the bus. She was taking it to Kilgore to be auctioned off, she says, when she noticed that there was smoke suddenly coming out of the dashboard. She was able to pull over on the side of the road and abandon the bus. She was not injured.

The fire quickly spread through the bus. Fire officials say the cause of the fire is undetermined.
