PALESTINE, TX (KLTV) - Chef Simon Webster and the staff of Sabor a Pasion Estate and Vineyard are hosting a grape stomp in Palestine Saturday, July 25.
The event will benefit the Montalba and Elmwood volunteer fire departments, Webster says, and will be held from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m., so that you can experience the event in the evening as you watch the sun set and the stars appear.
Music for the event will be provided by Jazz Connection and Big Screen Entertainment. Chef Simon will prepare a fabulous paella dinner, and there will even be a Lucille Ball contest! Everyone will be able to participate in grape stomping and will get to make a footprint t-shirt when they do.

Tickets are available in advance at Sweet Gourmet in Tyler, O'Sweet Pea and Granny Muffin Wines, both in Palestine. Tickets at these locations are $40, cash or check only.
If you would prefer to pay with a credit card, call Sabor a Pasion at 903-729-9500, Tickets are $40 in advance, and $45 at the event. Not credit cards will be accepted at the gate. Webster says that purchasing in advance guarantees a tote bag, t-shirt, and meal ticket. The event will go on, rain or shine, and pets are not allowed at the event. Supervised children are welcome.
