Body found in Henderson County identified as missing man

HENDERSON COUNTY, TX (KLTV) - Henderson County authorities are investigating after a body was found in the city of Eustace on Wednesday. According to the police chief, the body has been tentatively identified as Keith Allen Beasley.

Beasley was reported missing on July 16, 2015.

According to Eustace Police Chief Perrini, the police department received a call at 9:20 a.m. Wednesday, saying there was a blue F150 pick-up on the side of Highway 175, in a drainage ditch. Mowing crews with TxDOT found the truck, hidden by 10 to 12 foot weeds.

Inside of the truck, officials found Keith Allen Beasley, deceased.

Henderson County Justice of the Peace Kevin Pollock was contacted. Judge Pollock ordered the body to be sent to American Forensics in Dallas for an autopsy.

The Eustace Police Department is working with the Texas Department of Public Safety, the Henderson County District Attorney's Office, and the Henderson County Sheriff's Office in this ongoing investigation.
