GREGG COUNTY, TX (KLTV) - A man charged in the death of a Tyler transgender woman could soon be back in Smith County.

Probation was revoked Thursday for Carlton Ray Champion, Jr.

Champion was already serving four years of probation for unauthorized use of a vehicle before he was arrested Jan. 29. He was arrested at that time on charges he violated that probation. After his arrest, he was also charged with the murder of 24-year-old Tyrone Lee Underwood, a Tyler resident.
