LONGVIEW, TX (KLTV) - An autopsy report released Tuesday shows police shot a Longview teen five times after an attempted robbery at the New-Way convenience store in the 1300 block of S. Green Street in Longview. It also shows the teen had marijuana in his system when the shootout happened.

Justin Aguilar, 15, was shot in the face and neck, left arm, trunk, right leg, and a bullet grazed his back, according to the autopsy completed by the Southwestern Institute of Forensic Sciences in Dallas. The cause of death is listed as gunshot wounds.

On March 9, a store clerk was able to give officials a description of Aguilar after he attempted to rob the store. Officials say when they confronted Aguilar he began shooting at the officer's car hitting it in the rear window and passenger's side door. They said the officer then got out of the car and ran after him. Aguilar was shot by police in the backyard on the 300 block of E. Avalon Ave.

Aguilar was a student at Forest Park Middle School.
