LONGVIEW, TX (KLTV) - The mother of a 30-year-old missing Longview man says police told her the body found Friday afternoon is her son, Gaylon Bradley.
Police say children playing soccer found the body in a creek across from the old Forest Park Middle School near the 1200 block Pegues Place in Longview.
Kristie Brian, Longview police spokeswoman, says the body was found just before 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
The case is being turned over to detectives.
Officers say the body is being sent for an autopsy in Tyler. They say the victim is an African American man who will not be officially identified until after the autopsy is preformed.
They say the body was found partly submerged in the creek.
