KILGORE, TX (KLTV) - Authorities are looking for a group of men involved in a daylight business burglary that was caught on tape.
Around 8 o'clock Sunday morning, authorities say burglars broke into Texas Tea Liquor on Highway 31, near the Smith/Gregg County line.
The burglars are believed to have been responsible for other possible break-ins.
Security video shows three men breaking into Texas Tea Liquor, and calmly going about their business.
"It appears that its not their first time in doing this. I'm sure they planned it out. They seemed very calm, methodical, one of the suspects on a cell phone almost the whole time in the store," says Lieutenant Kirk Haddix of the Gregg County Sheriffs Office.
They spent only 6 minutes inside the store. One man knocks out the security motion detector, while others go for the cash registers.
Investigators say the suspects knew where to go around the back of the building to punch a whole through the wall to get in.
They used a sledgehammer to break through the wall.
Investigators say all three appear to be black males wearing hoodies and all have facial hair.
One man is clearly seen with a neatly trimmed beard, who appears to be communicating on a cell phone throughout the burglary.
"In the video, we see them going to the cash registers and looking around in that area, but we don't know exactly what's missing yet. They appear to have planned this out and know exactly what their going in there after," Haddix says.
Alarms were also triggered at another liquor store, only blocks away.
"We had an alarm go off same area, another liquor store in the area. we found some evidence that may link the 2 stores," says Haddix.
Anyone with information on the identity of any of the suspects , is asked to call the Gregg County Sheriffs Office.
