Paul Pewitt High School students evacuated after bomb threat

MORRIS COUNTY, TX (KLTV) - Officers with Naples Police Department and Omaha Police Department are currently on scene at Paul Pewitt High School in Morris County.
According to Pewitt Consolidated Independent School District Superintendent Jackie Dammann, school officials received a tip around 3:20 p.m. that there was an explosive device on the high school campus. Dammann said the high school principal was immediately made aware of the situation.
Dammann said in the best interest of students, an emergency evacuation was ordered.
All students have been evacuated from campus at this time. School officials are currently meeting to discuss the situation.
Paul Pewitt High School is located 15 miles east of Mt. Pleasant on Highway 67 in Omaha.
