Proud of East Texas: Edom Firehouse

Edom's old firehouse -- once the setting for fire trucks and firemen, is now filled with art, music and movies.

Artist Jeff Gottesman and his wife Judy moved to Edom five years ago. They had met in a coffeehouse, loved its music and atmosphere, and wanted to create the same in Edom.

Edom's old abandoned firehouse was just what they were looking for. "The Old Firehouse" now holds Jeff's gallery, Judy's therapeutic massage studio, and a theater where they offer coffeehouse type music and independent films.
