Earthquake shakes parts of East Texas

TIMPSON, TX (KLTV) - An earthquake was reported in East Texas early Friday afternoon.
According to the United States Geological Survey, a 2.8 magnitude earthquake shook the area near Timpson, TX around 1:38 p.m.
The earthquake had an epicenter about three miles southwest of Timpson and 22 miles northeast of Nacogdoches.
People in Garrison, Timpson and even Irving, TX have reported feeling the quake.
