Twisters Football Tryouts in Tyler

College football is over, the NFL season is winding down... But a group of East Texas men are gearing up for yet another football season. The East Texas Twisters, a semi-pro football club, held tryouts today at the Hogg middle school football field.

Men from 18 to 50 came out to try to make the team which will play its home games in Tyler. It's the teams second year of existence, and many of the younger players will be scouted by talent agents to go on to play arena league ball.
