EAST TEXAS (KLTV) - The feds have joined in on the hunt for a suspected East Texas airplane thief.

Joshua Paul Calhoun of Brownsboro, crashed a small plane near Athens this March, which he initially claimed to have bought online, but turned out to be stolen.

He was not hurt in the crash, and the day he was supposed to be in court, July 23rd, federal authorities stopped him at the Texas-Mexico border. When they found out Calhoun had a warrant, they say he drove off, shaking loose an officer who was trying to hold onto the truck. The officer was not injured.

If you know where Joshua Calhoun is, call authorities immediately.
